I have used this laundry service multiple times without issues in the past. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. I noticed the dryer wasn’t working properly, despite inserting coins multiple times and checking the clothes myself. After asking the staff member on duty for assistance, she informed me (through a translation app) that it was my fault for using a broken machine. There were NO SIGNS or indicators on the machine showing that it was faulty. If that was the case I would have not been able to even use it.
To make matters worse, I was left without any refund for the money I wasted on the undried clothes. The staff member was very rude and repeatedly said, via the translator, that if I didn’t pay her extra money in cash, I wouldn’t get any help. This implies that assistance is only provided if you offer her additional payment, which is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
I have always appreciated the service in the past, but this incident has left me with a negative impression. I hope management can address this issue and ensure better communication, transparency and professionalism from their staff moving forward.
